Let's see how this year's goals are starting off...
Right now we are sitting at $7117.09, which I am very happy about. I only have about $5880 to go. Exciting!
We are sitting pretty at $250 saved for this vacation. I hope to add another $300 in February. We'll see.
The Q&A a day project has been going well. I've never kept a diary or journal before, but it has been nice to set aside a few minutes a day to answer a question.
So far this year we have contributed $500.
This is the one goal I am most proud of so far. For the month of January, the minimum I ran in a week was five miles. Right now, I am usually running between 6-9 a week.
I am failing this goal. I haven't seen any classic movies this month, but I do have some lined up in my Netflix queue.
I read three books this month, Bossypants by Tina Fey and Catching Fire and Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins. All of them were great.
I hand wrote two letters this month. One perk of having the Sailor away. I can write him letters. Another perk is the not having to shave my legs so much. Sorry, was that a little too much information?
I can go ahead and cross this one off my list. I bought myself a Nikon D3000 with an extra lens off of Craigslist this month. I love it and I think it is going to help bring my photography up to the next level.
This is coming along quite nicely too. I have 120 cranes made. This is one of those things I can do when I am watching TV. I am getting so used to doing it, I almost don't have to look at them.
I haven't even looked into this goal yet. This will get explored closer towards summer time.
Another goal I haven't even looked into yet. All right, I need to start contributing to this.
Well, I have to say I am starting the year off pretty well, since I can cross one thing off my list already and I am maintaining most of the ongoing goals too. How are your goals looking as we end the first month of the year?
