Bonus Recipe
Makeshift Chocolate Truffles

The original plan was to make some macarons. That was the plan anyway, it didn't quite work out. I know they are a tricky thing, so it was a bit presumptuous of me to think I could master this the first try. I will try it again.

Although the macaron part didn't work, I still had a bowl of chocolate ganache (without the rum) that needed to be used up so I made a some chocolate truffles with it. I let it cool in the fridge for a few hours. Once it was cooled I rolled it into balls and covered them in white chocolate. Voila, makeshift truffles.

P.S. If you would like to know from last week, bacon and avocado grilled cheese sandwiches are very good. This will become a staple in our home.
