This Week in Saving Money

This week was filled with savings. Let me count the ways.

I made vegetable broth from all our veggies that were on the verge. Now we have more than enough broth for our soup on Sunday.

Our printer needed ink, which costs more per ounce than plutonium for some reason. Instead of spending close to $40 at the store, I looked on ebay and found the three color inks and the black for about $13. They work too. Yay! Ebay! Not just for selling my crap.

I made English muffins. Thank you Carla from My 1/2 dozen daily, for the inspiration. She also inspired this post.

I made a birthday present from felt for our good friend. I know this sounds kind of silly, but it really fits her personality. Our friend is a Batman fanatic and I made her a finger puppet that looked like Batman. I wish I had taken a picture of it. You are just gonna have to take my word for it. Ah ha!... I found a picture, she has it as her facebook profile picture.

Just thought I'd share some progress. Anybody else saving money without hardly trying?
