Still trying to figure out the best way to keep track for the week. So now I am just going to put down what was spent in each category with a little blurb about where the money went. Automobile $468.40 (car payment and gasoline) Cable/Internet/Cell $15.04 (our cable bill) Christmas Savings $100 Clothing $135.30 (dress clothes for kiddos, 3 new pants for son and 2 pairs of shoes) Credit Card $420 Education $70 (piano lessons) Entertainment and Rec $74.93 (allowances and satellite radio) Food $186.93 (groceries, but the bulk of Christmas cookies and fudge supplies are bought) House/Home $21.47 (even more printer ink and thank you cards Mortgage $1000 Utilities $169.77 (gas and water) Vacation Savings $37.50 Christmas Crafts $34.08 It was an expensive week that was only three days, but the first of the month is when the majority of the bills are paid. Everything is still under budget or on point.
So we are off to the Christmas parade tonight, also part of out Christmas activities. Wish us luck it is really cold outside.
